SCAM - Why do these companies all say their hot tub is the best? After visiting my probably 100th hot tub website, I knew that I had to be the detective and find out who is telling the truth. After about 20 websites, I could cross most of them because the inside of these hot tubs looked EXACTLY THE SAME, probably made in the same factories.

So I quickly learned how they try to market their tubs and compared them to the rest of the hot tub sites I found. I can only imagine how many people fall for this bogus marketing. Like I said, I'm looking for hot tubs that were actually researched and tested and just go by the specs on the sheet or some stupid testimonial they have on their site.

Well, if you want me to talk about the private research I did, I learned that the first two hot tubs I tried sucked, and the dealers seemed so convincing before I knew what to look out for. MOST HOT TUB COMPANIES CANNOT PRODUCE REAL CONSTANT OUTPUT HORSEPOWER THAT IS EVEN CLOSE TO THEIR INPUT HORSEPOWER. Can someone say "PEAK HORSEPOWER", PLEASE? Seriously, if all these companies had good hot tub, what is the point for all of them to compete? THE HOT TUB INDUSTRY IS FILLED WITH LIARS AND SCAMMERS, but there has to be some legitimate companies out there.

The single largest problem that all hot tub buyers need to spend their time on before "choosing" which one they believe is the best. All of these manufacturers each have their own website and present very similar and contradicting information to try and make their hot tubs seem better than the competitors. The trims on each may slightly vary, if any, but in the end they are exactly the same thing. Each claiming of having special technology they only have by making fancy descriptions for their jets, heaters, motors, etc.

Although some hot tub companies might look the same and try to seem better than others, they are usually selling the exact same thing as their competitor. If you search around long enough, you will see that there are very similar hot tubs out there. WHY? IT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SAME TUBS! Watch out for this stuff if you want the original quality. If they lie about stuff like this, then how can I trust anything else they say is true. NOTHING YOU WILL GET FROM THESE COMPANIES IS ORIGINAL! The average liars always think their story makes them more special over others. Unfortunately I've discovered that most of the hot tub companies are like this. Even the those guys who were extra nice to me! In my opinion, try to find the original manufacturer. But if you want to buy a private label, at least know it is a private label and know that it's not that special. At least you will know what you're getting, right?

This is usually overlooked by customers who give their phone number to a dealer and they keep calling them over and over again. (This is a form of harassment and aggression actually). If you call a dealer and want a price or information on their tub and they keep calling you back, this is a red flag. Since it is normal for a business to ask for a customer's number you will just have to wait and see how they'll be when you contact most of these dealers. With each new call, they might offer you things like a special Holiday Sale, or 10th Anniversary sale when they haven't even been in business for more than that, or just a sale because they say they like you.

They have just continued to push further discounts until I choose to buy from them or when I told them.

I felt like they tried to trap me into committing to a hot tub. YES. THIS IS HOW SO MANY OF THESE COMPANIES OPERATE AND SELL LIKE THIS. Most people think they are really having a sale and are saving money. Do you really think their tubs will really work as they claim if they are selling like this? Just think a bout it if you already haven't.
